Rajneesh started off life as a troublemaker — as both a student and a teacher — but eventually found his groove with his own system of meditation, blending eastern mystic ideas with western psychology. He set up an Ashram in India and gathered a pretty decent following, but (fleeing tax problems) decided to move to Oregon to create a new community.
